This is a Saarinen Executive Side Chair, model 72C, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. These particular examples date to the 1970s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have a pair in this colorway available for individual sale. The design features chromed-steel tubular legs, and has rust-hued velvet upholstery. The pair was reupholstered at some point.
Each chair measures 20.5 inches long, 22.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 18.75 inches. There are several black spots and bleach spots on fabric, and the backrest foam is spongy. The fabric shows wear along the edges.
